Degree Navigator is Rutgers University’s undergraduate degree audit and academic planning system. It helps students and advisors see how completed, current, and planned coursework applies toward degree and academic program requirements.
This website provides Degree Navigator information and support for Rutgers University New Brunswick students, advisors, and academic departments.
What You Can Do in Degree Navigator
- Review your academic progress and program requirements.
- Generate updated audits for your current academic programs.
- Explore other undergraduate majors, minors, and programs without changing your official academic record.
- Search courses and programs and review available course descriptions, prerequisites, corequisites, and equivalencies.
- Use planned coursework to see how future courses may apply toward degree requirements.
- Review advising information available within your Degree Navigator record.
Important to Know
Degree Navigator is an advising and planning tool. It is not an official transcript, does not register students for courses, and does not officially declare or change a major or minor. Degree Navigator also does not replace academic advising or official degree certification.
Degree Audit System Transition
Rutgers is preparing to implement a new enterprise degree audit system. Degree Navigator will remain the active degree audit system during the transition. Students and advisors should continue to use Degree Navigator as usual until Rutgers announces changes to system access, advising processes, or availability.
What This Means Now
- Degree Navigator remains available for undergraduate degree audits and academic advising.
- Existing Degree Navigator advising and departmental processes will continue unless otherwise announced.
- Additional information will be shared as transition planning progresses.
